We have been notified by the Estates Department that there will be works carried out with the water meters for Penglais Campus on Thursday 7th October 2010 between the hours of 2.00pm and 3.30pm. They have made us aware there could be a slight discolouration with the water due to possibly some sediment in the pipe that may be disturbed with the valve operation. Slightly coloured water is still safe to drink due to the chlorine in the water, but if this occurs the Estates Department recommends users run the tap for 5 minutes and it will run clear. If anyone spots more than slight discolouration or it does not run clear after 10 minutes then please contact Cwrt Mawr Reception who will report the fault.
